Valentine’s After Dark at the Jacksonville Arboretum

On February 14, we had the pleasure of participating in Valentine’s After Dark at the beautiful Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens — an evening event that invited guests to explore the gardens under the glow of Valentine’s lights.
Through our SIT STAY LOVE – Photography that Gives Back initiative, we set up a portrait station to capture couples, friends, and of course a few beloved dogs who joined the evening festivities. Guests were able to stop by for a quick portrait and make a $20 donation per digital image, with all proceeds benefiting the Arboretum.
The atmosphere was relaxed and festive as visitors strolled the illuminated trails, enjoyed music and refreshments, and paused for portraits along the way. It was wonderful meeting so many members of the community and sharing the evening together.
Thanks to the generosity of attendees, $140 was raised to support the Arboretum’s mission of conservation, education, and preserving this special natural space for Jacksonville.
We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by the camera — whether with their dog, their date, or a group of friends — and helped support this local treasure.
