A Portrait with Purpose: Celebrating Charlotte and the Power of Rescue

Say hello to Charlotte—the sweet, soulful pup now gracing billboards across Jacksonville as the official winner of the Jacksonville Humane Society’s Cutest Pet Contest!

This annual contest isn’t just about bragging rights (though Charlotte definitely earned those). It’s one of the Humane Society’s biggest fundraisers—and in 2023, it raised over $50,000 to help shelter pets find loving homes. Charlotte alone brought in more than $6,000 in votes!

As part of her grand prize, Charlotte received a Concierge Portrait Session with us at The PAWtographers. We had the honor of photographing her for her billboard debut—and let’s just say, she’s as photogenic as she is charitable.

Her face now beams from three billboards around Jacksonville, reminding thousands of drivers every day that rescue dogs are extraordinary.
