The PAWtographers grew from a shared love of dogs, photography and the belief that the animals who shape our lives deserve to be remembered beautifully.

Built Around the Dogs We Love.

Long before The PAWtographers became our work, dogs were already woven into our lives. Over time, photography became the way we could preserve the personalities, relationships and small details that make each dog unforgettable.

What began as a shared creative pursuit grew into something much bigger: a portrait experience built around patience, trust and the belief that the best photographs happen when a dog is allowed to simply be themselves.

Joan is drawn to expression, personality and the tiny details that make one dog completely different from another. Her work blends photography, fine-art portraiture and years of experience working with dogs both in front of the camera and beyond it.

She brings the same curiosity to every session: what makes this dog who they are, and how can that become something worth living with every day?

Photographer. Builder. Calm in the chaos.

Randy brings precision, patience and a steady hand to every session. His background makes him the one who notices the technical details, solves the practical problems and keeps things moving when the plan changes.

He is equally comfortable building a studio setup, managing lighting or simply giving a dog the time they need to settle in.
