We didn’t choose the dog life. The dog life chose us—and we brought our cameras.
It started with a love of dogs so deep, we never wanted to forget a single whisker. So we picked up our cameras—and never put them down.
Today, we’re The PAWtographers: creators of soulful, wall-worthy artwork starring the dogs who rule your life (and your furniture). These aren’t quick snapshots. They’re legacy portraits designed to outlive the paw prints on your floors—and the nose smudges on your windows.

Joan has written the books, taught the classes, mentored the artists, and photographed more dogs than most people have met in their lifetime. She’s shown them, trained them, painted them, and yes—cried over more than a few of them, too. Her background reads like a canine-packed highlight reel, but what really sets her apart is this: she sees the moment before it happens—and captures it like magic.
Whether your pup is a showstopper, a couch potato, or a blur of zoomies and chaos, Joan has a sixth sense for photographing that one split-second that says “that’s my dog.” And that’s the frame that ends up on your wall.
Randy Walker
The steady hand, trusted presence, and behind-the-scenes magic-maker.
Randy is the calm at the center of every session—and the guy who makes sure everything just works. A seasoned pro with a background in naval leadership and technical precision, he’s built four photography studios from the ground up (including our custom-designed space in St. Augustine), each crafted with dogs, humans, and artistry in mind.
While Joan’s creating the art, Randy’s creating the space—tweaking the light, fine-tuning the angles, and gently winning over every dog who walks through our doors. His quiet confidence, steady energy, and well-timed biscuit game have earned him the unofficial title of Most Trusted Human on Set.

Through our charitable wing, SIT STAY LOVE, we also partner with rescues across Florida—photographing adoptable pets and raising funds for the organizations that care for them. It’s art with heart. (And a tail.)
