A pet photography experience with The PAWtographers begins long before we pick up a camera. We start by getting to know your pet, the relationship you share and what you hope these photographs will ultimately become.
From choosing the right setting and planning Portrait Day to selecting your favorite photographs and creating the finished artwork, Joan and Randy guide you through every step. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want. That's what the experience is designed to help you discover.
Before we plan where to photograph or what Portrait Day might look like, we want to hear about your pet. The things they love. The little expressions you never want to forget. Whether they're outgoing, cautious, wildly energetic or happiest curled up beside you.
We'll also talk about who you'd like to include, the photographs you're drawn to and how you imagine enjoying the finished artwork in your home. From there, we begin designing an experience that feels like yours.

Once we understand what matters to you, we begin shaping the details. We'll help choose the setting, time of day and style that suit your pet, whether that means an Atlantic sunrise, a quiet woodland trail, the energy of the city, our private studio or somewhere entirely your own.
We think about your pet's personality and comfort level, the people being photographed, what to wear, the light and even where the finished artwork may eventually live. By Portrait Day, the important decisions have already been made. All that's left is to enjoy your pet.
Your dog doesn't need perfect manners, an impressive stay or any idea what a camera is for. They simply need to be themselves.
Joan and Randy bring decades of experience working with dogs in front of and behind the camera. We read body language, work at your dog's pace and know when to ask for something, when to change direction and when the best photograph is about to happen all on its own.
Outdoors, dogs remain safely leashed whenever needed, and leashes can be removed from the finished photographs. The goal isn't perfect behavior. It's genuine expression, connection and portraits that look like your dog on their very best day.

After Portrait Day, we'll prepare your photographs for your Ordering Appointment. This is the moment you finally get to see what we created together and begin choosing the images you love most.
We'll help you compare favorites, think through sizes and groupings, and decide which photographs belong on your walls, in an album or as part of a larger collection. You won't be handed a gallery and left to figure it out alone. We guide you through the decisions so the finished artwork feels considered from beginning to end.
The photographs were never meant to end their lives on a screen. We create finished pieces designed to become part of your home and part of the way you remember this chapter of your pet's life.
From statement wall portraits and fine art prints to handcrafted albums and individually created Près du Coeur paintings, we'll help you choose artwork that suits both the photographs and the way you live.
Explore The Collection →Every family chooses differently. Some fall in love with one extraordinary wall portrait. Others create a collection for their home, an album that tells the larger story or a combination of artwork they can enjoy in different ways.
We'll share complete pricing before you book and help you understand the options available, so you can plan your experience and artwork with confidence.
Explore Investment →Every experience begins with a conversation. Tell us about your pet, what makes them unmistakably themselves and what you're dreaming of creating. We'll take it from there.
