Meet Ranger and Maple—beach models, bulldog ambassadors, and possibly the most expressive duo we’ve ever photographed.

Ranger is a Beabull (that’s Beagle + Bulldog for the uninitiated), and Maple is a Victorian Bulldog, which sounds like she should sip tea in a corset but instead she runs the beach with iron jowls. Together? They are a whole mood.

Their session began with a sunrise that looked like it had been painted just for them—soft pinks, warm oranges, and gentle waves. It was dreamy. They were... unimpressed.

Ranger flopped dramatically in the wet sand like a sun-weary poet. Maple sat stoic and majestic, her tag proudly declaring “Bad Bitch”—because subtlety is for poodles. They weren’t there to fetch or frolic. They were there to serve face. And they delivered.

Their humans clearly adore them, and it’s easy to see why. Behind those tough expressions are sweet souls with squishy hearts (and maybe a bit of bulldog drama). Whether lounging in the tide or throwing side-eye at a passing seagull, these two were absolute pros.
