We’re currently casting for a few upcoming sessions—scroll down to see where we need models and how to apply!

Black & White Sessions

OPEN– Now Accepting Applications

📍 Model Call: Studio
📅 Private One-on-One; Date & Time scheduled with model

 

Number of Dogs Needed: 3–4

Coat Colors:

  • Solid white
  • Solid or mostly cream
  • Solid or mostly grey
  • Solid or mostly black
  • Black, grey  & white combinations

Temperament & Training:

  • Comfortable around strobe lighting
  • Able to sit or pose on a solid (non-slick) surface
  • Good with posing cues
  • Alert, expressive, and comfortable being photographed in a studio setting

2026 - Pro Photography Workshop in NC

📍 Model Call: Raleigh–Durham Photography Workshop
📅 June 8–11, 2026
📸 Hosted by The PAWtographers | East Coast School

We’re looking for 4–5 well-trained, camera-ready dogs for EACH of the following locations during a 4-day hands-on workshop with professional photographers:

• 📍 Hotel Location (Studio Setup)
• 🏙️ Urban Location (Downtown/Raleigh Area)
• 🌳 Nearby State Park (Outdoor, Natural Light)

We’re looking for dogs who:
✔️ Are solid on sit, down, and stay
✔️ Are calm in group settings with unfamiliar people and gear
✔️ Are comfortable in new environments with distractions
✔️ Will be leashed at all times
✔️ Can arrive on time
✨ Bonus: If you’re willing to be in a photo with your pup, we love that!

🎁 What You’ll Receive:
→ An edited digital image (or more!) from participating photographers
→ A fine art print + matching social media file from instructor Joan Walker

2026 - Paws + Petals: Duke Gardens NC

Open – Now Accepting Applications

📍 Model Call: Duke Gardens, Durham, NC
📅 Friday, June 12, 2026
⏰ 8:00 AM sharp (yes, we mean it!)

We’re looking for 2–3 stunning pups to model in one of the most beautiful gardens in the South—Sarah P. Duke Gardens in Durham, NC.

We’re looking for dogs who:
✔️ Are well-groomed and ready to shine
✔️ Can sit-stay on a slack leash (no tight leads, please!)
✔️ Are comfortable around people and distractions
✔️ Will be leashed at all times
✔️ Can arrive on time
✨ Bonus: If you're willing to be in a photo with your pup, we love that!

🎁 What You’ll Receive:
Your choice of:
→ Two 5x7 fine art prints (with matching social media files)
or
→ One 8x10 fine art print matted to 11x14 (with matching social media file)
