Thank you for considering a custom dog portrait session with The PAWtographers ("we," "us," "our," or "the photographer"). We’re excited to create beautiful artwork featuring your dog! Before we begin, please review the following Terms and Conditions. By booking a session with us, you ("you" or "the client") agree to the terms below. Have questions? We’re happy to help.

GENERAL

These Terms and Conditions form the basis of our agreement and override any previous agreements. Any changes must be agreed upon in writing. If any part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms will still apply. This agreement is governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

ACCEPTANCE

By submitting payment or redeeming a promotional gift certificate, you accept these Terms and Conditions. Payment indicates you have read and agreed to the terms outlined here.

COPYRIGHT & OWNERSHIP

We (Joan and Randy Walker of The PAWtographers) retain full copyright to all images we create. Each image is an original, handcrafted work of art. You may not reproduce, edit, print, or otherwise use these images without our written permission. You may share purchased artwork on social media with proper credit to The PAWtographers.

IMAGE USAGE RIGHTS

By booking a session, you grant us permission to use your dog's images in promotional materials, including but not limited to our website, social media, books, exhibitions, print competitions, and publications. This includes both digital and print uses that showcase our work for marketing, competition, or educational purposes. If you prefer to restrict use of your dog’s images, please notify us in writing prior to your session.

RESERVATIONS & REFUNDS

Your session is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Session fees and prepaid art credits are non-refundable. Rescheduling requires at least 48 hours’ notice. Emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Any unused balances will be retained for future sessions or artwork.

WEATHER POLICY

For outdoor sessions, we monitor weather closely to ensure safety and comfort. Sessions may be rescheduled for heavy rain, high winds, or extreme temperatures. If rescheduling is not possible, your session fee and art credit will be fully refunded.

HEALTH, AGILITY & GROOMING

Let us know if your dog is unwell or has been exposed to a contagious condition. We recommend professional grooming one week prior to the session to allow the coat to settle. Please inform us of any special needs or behaviors requiring accommodations.

SAFETY & OTHER ANIMALS

Dogs must remain leashed unless in a secure, off-leash area. Off-leash dogs must have strong recall. You are responsible for your dog’s behavior. Let us know in advance if your dog is reactive or needs a quieter location.

SOCIAL MEDIA FILES

Complimentary social media-sized digital files are included with purchased artwork.

• Use: Personal, non-commercial, with logo intact These files may not be altered, sold, printed, or distributed separately.

PRICES & PAYMENTS

Prices are subject to change. Full payment is required before any orders are processed. We accept Bank Transfer, Credit Card, Check, or Cash.

DELIVERY & SHIPPING

All orders are carefully reviewed and shipped directly to you. Shipping costs depend on order size but generally range from $10–$50 and are billed on your initial invoice.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for your dog’s behavior and safety. Let us know about any allergies, anxieties, or specific needs. If you arrive late to a session—especially sunrise or sunset—your time may be shortened, and no refund will be issued. We reserve the right to cancel any session that poses a safety risk.

SESSION TIMES & DURATION

Please arrive on time. Late arrivals—especially for sunrise sessions—may result in a shortened session or cancellation without refund. Sessions conclude once we’ve captured enough high-quality images.

SPECIAL IMAGE REQUESTS

Let us know any special photo requests in advance. We’ll do our best to accommodate them, prioritizing your dog’s comfort and safety.

EDITING

We provide professionally edited images for your viewing session. Additional editing beyond standard retouching is billed at $75/hour (minimum of 3 hours) and is subject to approval.

ORDERING & FULFILLMENT

Orders become final 24 hours after placement. Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final after that period.

• We’ll keep you informed throughout the process.

IMAGE ARCHIVING

Images are archived for 6 months after your session date. After that, they may be deleted. Please back up any digital files and care for your artwork properly.

DATA PROTECTION

We respect your privacy. Your personal information and session details will not be shared without your consent. A full Privacy Policy is available upon request.

LIABILITY

We are not responsible for unexpected delays, weather, or other circumstances outside our control. If such events prevent us from fulfilling your session, we will offer a reschedule or refund. In the rare event Joan or Randy Walker are unavailable, we will schedule one of our trusted associate photographers to take your session. If no suitable replacement can be arranged, a full refund will be issued.

OUR COMMITMENT

We are committed to delivering a professional, high-quality experience. If your portraits do not meet our standards, we will offer a complimentary reshoot. If the reshoot also falls short, a full refund will be provided.
