She’s 14—but you wouldn’t know it by looking at her.
Marina is the oldest of the “SunSational Seven,” a group of Cavaliers rescued from a backyard breeding operation in Florida. Today, this gentle Blenheim girl is soaking up the good life in foster care with Cavalier Rescue of Florida—and proving every day that age is just a number when you’re surrounded by love.
📸 Meet Marina
We photographed Marina through our SIT STAY LOVE program, and from the moment she stepped out for her moment on camera, she made one thing clear: she just wanted to be close. Whether sitting at her foster's feet or leaning into a soft hand, Marina quietly asked for affection… and gave back tenfold.
Her fur is still growing in, but with a little time, we expect her coat will be just as lovely as her heart already is.
“She’s quiet, she’s kind, and she’s far more youthful than her years suggest.”
Breeze's images were captured as part of our SIT STAY LOVE initiative—an effort by The PAWtographers to give rescue dogs their moment in the spotlight (and on the walls of their forever homes).
Because some souls were born gentle. Marina doesn’t demand attention—she simply invites it. She’s learning what it means to be part of a family and discovering just how sweet life can be. Her story is one of resilience, softness, and second chances.
Marina is not available for adoption just yet—she’s still getting the care she needs. But her future is bright, and we’re already cheering her on.
