Some dogs charge into your life. Coral? She gently boops her way in. (Yes, we got booped and we 100% loved it!)
At ten years old, Coral is one of the SunSational Seven—a group of Cavaliers rescued from a heartbreaking backyard breeding situation in Florida. Now safe in foster care with Cavalier Rescue of Florida, she’s discovering what love really looks like… and wagging her tail the whole way through.
We photographed Coral as part of our SIT STAY LOVE program—an initiative by The PAWtographers that provides rescue dogs with professional portraits to help them get adopted. Coral? She was a natural.
She posed with the grace of a seasoned model—then marched right up to the lens and booped it. Her signature tricolor expression may look stern, but don’t be fooled. Coral is sweetness through and through.
“She may look serious—but that tail never got the memo.”
Coral is adjusting beautifully to life outside the shed. She enjoys short walks, soft grass, and hanging with her 8-year-old human foster sibling. She’s currently being fostered with Sailor, another SunSational pup, and the two are learning what it means to be part of a family.
She spends her days lounging on wood floors, snoozing in her crate, or wagging her tail like it’s a full-time job.
Health Needs:
💖 Grade 4–5/6 heart murmur
💖Spay surgery scheduled
💖Receiving care for skin, eye, and dental issues
💖Fully vetted and microchipped
She’s gentle. She’s resilient. She’s just beginning to blossom—and her best days are still ahead. Coral may have started in a dark shed, but her glow-up is undeniable. All she needs now is a home.
Adoption is currently pending for this sweet girl!
