Blue Steel Meets Goofy Soul

A show poodle in full Continental trim, equal parts runway and ridiculous, with a heart as big as his hair.

We first met Zuko at the Tails & Trails event back in 2022, where he posed for a quick charity portrait. Even then, it was clear: this dog wasn’t just handsome. He was unforgettable.

Today, Zuko is working toward his conformation championships in both UKC and AKC, showing off that stunning blue coat and floating across the ring in true poodle elegance. But don’t be fooled by the perfect topknot and poised stack. Zuko is all heart, all humor, and all about making people smile.

Just ask his person, Carmen. A Navy sailor, Carmen says the best part of any day, whether she’s coming home from deployment or just checking the mail, is being bombarded by sixty pounds of unfiltered poodle joy.

And that joy? It’s contagious.

After a devastating loss within her command last year, Zuko was there, flopping around at a gathering of grieving sailors and offering laughter when it was needed most.

“He had the whole place laughing. In that dark time, he brought light.”
