Meet Ferdi – The Jet-Setting Sato

Ferdi’s story started on the streets of Puerto Rico, where he was rescued by All Sato Rescue and transported to the Patty Baker Humane Society Naples. But this wasn’t just the end of a tough chapter—it was the beginning of a wild, tail-wagging adventure.

From rescue pup to frequent flyer, Ferdi is now a seasoned traveler who’s explored 23 states and traveled by plane, train, ferry, yacht, paddleboard—and yes, even car seat throne. He’s a Florida beach dog with a passport and a calendar that’s frankly busier than ours.

The Glow-Up

Ferdi’s glow-up isn’t just physical—it’s epic. He’s gone from “Adopt Me” to “Catch Me If You Can.” Whether he’s strutting through Montauk, cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway, or posing on paddleboards like a pro, he’s living a story that proves just how far a rescue dog can go—literally and figuratively.

We’ve had the joy of photographing Ferdi at several of our Naples fundraising events benefiting PBHS, and every single time, he shows up like a total pro: ears up, attitude strong, and with a sparkle that says, “Been there, marked that.”

What Makes Ferdi Unforgettable

It’s not just the miles he’s logged—it’s the spirit he carries. Ferdi is the definition of resilience wrapped in wanderlust. His tiny frame holds a world-class adventurer’s soul and a heart that’s 100% loyal to his mom, Sue, who has given him a life filled with love, freedom, and more frequent flyer miles than most humans.

He’s spunky. He’s worldly. He’s wildly photogenic. And he’s the kind of rescue story that reminds us exactly why we do what we do.
