After a cross-state move and a whirlwind of life changes, Theresa wasnโt looking for just any dogโshe needed a gentle soul to help her recalibrate. Enterย Cash, herย thirdย adopted Great Dane from Lucky Farms Animal Rescue. Big paws. Bigger heart. And a presence that was exactly what she didnโt know she needed.
From day one, Cash made himself at home and quickly became the guy in the neighborhood. Kids adore him. Adults stop for selfies. Theresa jokes that sheโs just the person holding the leash. ๐
We photographed Cash at sunrise on the sands of Micklerโs Landing in St. Johns Countyโhis happy place (as long as the water stays over there). He galloped, posed, and hammed it up like a total pro, even if the ocean waves were a hard pass.
Heโs a sand-but-not-surf beach guy, a loyal sidekick for car rides, and the undisputed king of chew antlers and stuffed toys. His chill demeanor and oversized charm made him an instant favorite, but itโs the comfort and companionship he brought that makes him unforgettable.
Cash is the kind of ridiculous we live for. Heโs all limbs and heartโa galloping lunk of a Dane who channels full-on Scooby-Doo energy when he runs the beach (but let the record show: he will not be getting wet, thank you very much).
Photographing him was pure joy. Heโs goofy, expressive, and absolutely adoresย his person. One look at that big blocky head and those soulful eyes, and you just knowโthis dog gives the kind of love that makes everything softer around the edges.
