A Third Street South Tradition, Celebrated With Heart

Pets on Third Parade & Pet Fest 2026 is a Third Street South community event in Naples, Florida, celebrating dogs while raising funds for Patty Baker Humane Society Naples.

Pets on Third | Parade & Pet Fest has long been one of Third Street South’s most beloved traditions, and this year’s celebration felt especially meaningful. In honor of 250 years of American history, the street came alive with wagging tails, patriotic style, and a community that showed up wholeheartedly for its pets—and for a good cause.

From the moment the parade began, it was clear this was a day about more than just adorable dogs (though there were plenty of those). It was about connection, heritage, and the animals who have always walked beside us.

38 Dogs, One Day, and a Community That Gave Back

Throughout the day, we had the joy of photographing 38 dogs, each with their own personality, style, and devoted humans cheering them on.

Thanks to the generosity of those who chose to participate, $650 was raised for Patty Baker Humane Society Naples, helping support pets still waiting for their forever homes. Every donation—large or small—made a meaningful impact, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who took part.

This event was made possible through our SIT STAY LOVE – Photography That Gives Back initiative, which allows us to use photography as a way to support local rescues and community partners, and through the generous sponsorship by Third Street South.

The Details That Made the Day Special

This year’s event was filled with thoughtful touches that tied everything together:

  • A commemorative bookmark created for the occasion, honoring 250 years of American history and celebrating the role pets have played throughout it

  • A patriotic heart collar charm gifted to each dog who was photographed

  • Clean, timeless white portraits paired with a subtle patriotic overlay

Even our studio dog, Choco Taco, joined in on the fun—sporting a patriotic harness, bow tie, and one of our favorite navy leashes (durable, water-friendly, and parade-approved) from our friends at Paws Pet Boutique. He may have turned a few heads along the route.

A Parade Full of Personality

The parade itself was, quite simply, adorable.

From classic patriotic costumes to understated red, white, and blue details, the creativity on display was matched only by the joy on the dogs’ faces. The atmosphere was festive, warm, and unmistakably Naples—elegant without being overdone, celebratory without feeling commercial.

Third Street South truly set the tone, creating an event that felt both beautifully curated and genuinely welcoming.

Thank You for Being Part of the Story

We are incredibly thankful to Third Street South for hosting such a wonderful event, to Patty Baker Humane Society Naples for the important work they do every day, and to everyone who participated, donated, and cheered from the sidelines.

Pets on Third | Parade & Pet Fest reminded us why community-focused events like this matter—and how powerful it can be when people come together for pets.

If you were part of this year’s celebration, thank you for helping make it one to remember.
