🎉 New Honors from the International Pet Photography Awards
Saturday, September 13, 2025 | By: The PAWtographers
When you spend your days lying in the sand at sunrise, chasing zoomies through the woods, or convincing a stubborn terrier that yes, just one more sit-stay is a great idea… you don’t always stop to think about the bigger picture. But every once in a while, something comes along that makes you step back and say: Wow. This really matters.
That moment happened this September when we were honored with 13 awarded images at the International Pet Photography Awards (IPPA) — the world’s largest professional pet photography competition. With 4,011 entries from 45 countries, this competition represents the very best in our field, and we are thrilled to see our work recognized on the international stage.
About the Awards
Established in 2019, the International Pet Photography Awards celebrate the artistry and skill of pet photographers worldwide. An all-star judging panel evaluates each image for technical excellence, emotional impact, originality, and the connection between photographer and pet.
Each awarded image also contributes to the International Pet Photography Accreditation Program, a global degree system designed to celebrate photographers’ ongoing dedication and growth.
Our 2025 Results
This year, we are proud to celebrate:
-
🥈 1 Silver Award
-
🟤✨ 2 Bronze Distinction Awards
-
🟤 10 Bronze Awards
Each portrait tells its own story — of joy, love, loyalty, or just a bit of mischief — and we’ll be sharing the images below.
A New Degree: International Associate of Pet Photography
Alongside these awards, we reached a major milestone: we’ve officially been named an International Associate of Pet Photography (IPPA).
And we’re not stopping there — with nearly all the requirements completed, we are so close to the next level: International Expert of Pet Photography (IEPP). This year’s Silver Award puts us one big step closer.
For Us, For You, For the Dogs (and Cat)
Accreditation and awards aren’t about collecting badges — they’re about holding ourselves to the highest standards in our craft. For our clients, it means every portrait we create is not only infused with artistry and heart but also recognized among the very best in the world.
These honors are a celebration of the dogs we’ve had the privilege to photograph — and of the people who love them.
