💛 Nearly $300 raised for St. Philip Neri Animal Ministry

Some events are joyful. Some are soulful. And some, like the Family Pet Fair & Blessing of the Pets, are a perfect blend of both.

We had the honor of photographing the 11th Annual Family Pet Fair, hosted by St. Philip Neri Ecumenical Church in San Marco. With sunshine overhead, wagging tails all around, and a community full of love and laughter, this was one of those feel-good days that reminds us how powerful a shared love for animals can be.

A Community that Gives Back

This event is the biggest annual fundraiser for the St. Philip Neri Animal Ministry, and every dollar raised supports their work with local animals in need. Last year, thanks to generous attendees (and some friendly competition in the pet contests!), we helped raise nearly $300—every bit going directly to their mission.

From Wiggle Butts to Big Smiles

The day was packed with personality, thanks to the always-adorable “Best In Show” contests judged by local celeb Katie Jeffries of First Coast News. Whether it was Best Wiggle Butt, Best Kisser, or Best Senior, the pets brought their A-game—and plenty of laughs.

Visitors also enjoyed:
– Dog training tips at the “Ask the Trainer” booth
– Kid-friendly fun with Epic Outreach
– Food truck goodness from Berry Good Farms
– Vendors for pets & people
– Adoptable animals looking for love
– And of course, the Blessing of the Pets led by Bishop John Oliver

One of the highlights of the day? Our custom Blessing of the Pets photo booth, where we captured portraits like the one you see below. Each photo session was offered for a suggested donation—and together, we raised nearly $300 for St. Philip Neri Animal Ministry.
