The Sleuth Hound

CORTUFO is a big, beautiful bloodhound. It is said that the bloodhound does one thing better than any animal on earth, and that is to find people who are lost or hiding. 

Bloodhounds are also big, big dogs. Roger Caras was quoted as saying that bloodhounds are the "Clydesdales of the hound group." According to the American Bloodhound Club, male bloodhounds can weigh up to 130 pounds. 

Bloodhounds also have energy. They are not lazy, sleepy dogs as portrayed by "Duke" in The Beverly Hillbillies. (whoops. I probably just dated myself there...) Remember, they are working dogs and it takes tireless energy and high drives to be a search and rescue or police dog. 

But on a positive, bloodhounds -- especially Cortufo -- are happy, friendly, highly intelligent dogs that will absolutely make you pay the cheese tax. (Don't know what The Cheese Tax is? Do a quick google search. You can thank me later.)
