We could make our lives easier by photographing perfectly posed show dogs in pristine studios with hours to tweak every whisker. But where’s the fun in that?

Instead, we submit real client work to the toughest photography competitions on the planet—complete with wild tongues, surprise zoomies, and collars that just had to stay on. Why? Because we’re obsessed with getting better.

Competing with actual session images pushes us to create gallery-worthy portraits under real-world chaos. And honestly? Nothing keeps you humble like having your masterpiece judged by someone who’s never met the dog that ate your lighting setup.
