To receive this award, photographers must earn 13 Exhibition Merits through submissions to PPA’s International Photographic Competition (IPC). Each image is meticulously judged on technique, composition, and emotional impact, making this award a true reflection of an artist’s skill and commitment.

Though Joan is the one behind the camera, The PAWtographers is a collaborative effort. Randy, the other half of this talented team, plays a crucial role in the creation of each image, from perfecting lighting setups to handling gear. His expertise ensures that every shot is precisely planned and executed, helping Joan capture those striking, award-winning moments. While Joan’s name may appear on the award, Randy’s influence is in every detail, reflecting the teamwork that defines their work.
